Bangladesh police storm militant hideout

Bangladeshi police say they’ve stormed a hideout close to Dhaka and killed the suspected planner of a restaurant assault final month that left 22 individuals useless.

Police mentioned the useless “most likely” included Bangladeshi-Canadian citizen Tamim Chowdhury. Two different suspected militants died within the raid.

Twenty hostages and two cops have been killed within the cafe assault in July.

Bangladeshi commandos rescued 13 individuals after a 12-hour siege, killing six gunmen and arresting one other.
